What is TechEvaluate?



TechEvaluate is a small regional company that evaluates technological tools  for Ministries of Education and by extension schools across the region.  With the emergence of new digital tools to enhance the teaching and learning process schools must now select the digital tools that fit well into their educational context.  

Today, we are providing an evaluation on the digital software Microsoft Teams.  We are tasked with evaluating how well Microsoft Teams amplifies productivity.  A productivity evaluation rubric was used in this process to determine whether Microsoft Teams is a good fit for our educational institutions as it relates to productivity.   


Karen Williams, the managing director of TechEvaluate and editor of this blog, has been an educator for over fifteen (15) years within the Ministry of Education in Barbados.   Karen is a curriculum specialist and places  emphasis on innovation and change in schools.
